Pull out just the part you need
Extract pages from a PDF when you need a small piece of a big document. A 60-page lease may have one signature page your employer wants to see. A course pack may contain the one chapter your study group is reading this week. A tax return may include a summary page that a loan officer asks for on its own.
Instead of sending the full file and saying “see page 42”, you send a short PDF with only what matters. The person receiving it finds the information right away, and you don’t share pages that aren’t their business.
One file or one per page
By default, the pages you pick go into a single new PDF, in the same order they have in the original. That’s the right choice when the pages belong together, like the first and last page of a contract.
If you tick the option for one PDF per page, each selected page becomes its own file. That helps when an online form has separate upload fields for “front of ID” and “back of ID”, or when you need to send different pages to different people. Several files download together as a ZIP, or one by one.
Extract versus split
“Split PDF” cuts the whole document into parts by ranges or every N pages, so nothing is left behind. Extracting is about choosing: you keep only the pages you tap and ignore the rest. If you want the opposite, keeping almost everything and dropping a few pages, “Remove pages” is the faster route.
Private, free and without quality loss
Everything runs in your browser. The PDF isn’t uploaded to our server and never leaves your device, so it’s fine to use with personal records such as school transcripts or medical results. There’s no account and no usage limit.
Extracted pages are copied as they are, without recompressing images or text. Selectable text stays selectable. If the PDF asks for a password to open, remove it first with “Unlock PDF”, then come back and extract.
Examples of pages people extract
Students extract the rubric page from a long syllabus to keep next to their work. Job seekers pull the certificate page out of a training manual to attach it as proof. Parents extract the vaccination record from a full medical file for a school enrollment form.
In each case, the rule is the same: tap only what the recipient needs, check the thumbnails and download. Give the new file a clear name so it’s easy to find later, and keep the complete original in a safe place.
