What you can add to a PDF
Edit PDF lets you put new content on top of your pages. You can type text in Helvetica, Times or Courier and choose its size and color. You can insert PNG or JPG images, such as a logo, a stamp or a photo. You can draw shapes: rectangles, ellipses, lines and arrows, each with its own border and fill color. And you can draw freehand with your finger or mouse.
Everything you add stays editable until you process the file. Drag an item to move it, pull its corners to resize it, or delete it if you change your mind. You can work on several pages in the same session and download one PDF at the end.
What this editor does not do
It's important to be clear about this: Edit PDF does not change the text that is already in the PDF. You can't click on an existing sentence and rewrite it. The tool adds new layers on top of the page. If you need to fix a typo in the original, you have two practical options. You can cover the old text with a white rectangle and type the correct text over it, or you can convert the file with PDF to Word, fix it there and export it again.
Covering text with a shape only hides it visually. The original words are still inside the file and can be copied or found by search. If you need to remove sensitive information for real, use Redact PDF instead.
Added text supports letters from Western languages such as English, Spanish and Portuguese, including accents. Other writing systems may not display correctly.
Everyday uses
Many people use it to fill in a printed-style form that has no fillable fields: type your name, date and address right where the lines are. Teachers and students use arrows, circles and freehand notes to mark up assignments. Office teams add a company logo to a quote, highlight a total with a colored rectangle, or write a short note on a contract draft before sending it back.
It also works well for small visual fixes on a document you received, such as adding a missing date or a reference number before you submit it to a school or government portal.
Private by design
The editor runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device: it is not uploaded, and nothing is stored on our side. That makes it a sensible choice for contracts, bank letters or medical papers you would rather not send to a third-party server. It's free, with no account and no limit on how many files you edit.
