Common reasons to remove pages from a PDF
You may need to remove pages from a PDF before sending it anywhere. Scanners often add a blank sheet when you feed paper through, and a downloaded report may come with an ad page, a cover you don’t need, or terms and conditions nobody asked for.
Before you attach a document to a job application or a school portal, trim it to what the reviewer actually needs. A contract you’re sharing with a landlord may include internal pages meant only for you. A bank statement you’re submitting for a rental or a visa might have pages about unrelated accounts. Deleting them keeps the file short and focused.
Two ways to choose pages
Thumbnails are the easiest way: scroll, look, tap. Selected pages are marked so you can check your choice before processing. Tap a page again to unselect it, or clear the whole selection and start over.
For long documents, typing is faster. Write single pages and ranges separated by commas, such as “1, 4, 10-15”. You can combine both methods, typing a range and then tapping a few extra pages. The PDF must keep at least one page, so you can’t delete them all.
Nothing leaves your device
Thumbnails and the final PDF are generated in your browser. The file isn’t uploaded to our server, and nothing is saved after you close the tab. That makes this a safe choice for pay slips, medical reports and signed agreements.
Your original file isn’t changed either. You get a new copy with the pages removed, and the original stays exactly where it was on your phone or computer. The remaining pages are copied as they are, so quality and selectable text are unchanged.
Good to know before you start
Removing a page deletes the whole page. If you only need to hide a name or a number on a page, use “Redact PDF” instead, which blacks out areas and removes the hidden text for real.
If the PDF is password-protected, remove the password with “Unlock PDF” first. And if you also want to move or rotate pages, “Organize PDF” does all of that on one screen.
Checking the result
After you download, open the new PDF and scroll through it once before you send it. Page numbers printed on the pages themselves won’t update, because they’re part of the page content. If the numbering now skips, you can add fresh numbers with “Page numbers” on the trimmed file.
If you removed pages to make an attachment smaller and it’s still too heavy, send it to “Compress PDF” from the panel that appears after downloading. You won’t need to pick the file again.
