Forms with a limit per attachment
Many online applications, from job portals to scholarship and admissions systems, ask for a list of documents and set a size cap on each one. Compressing a PDF to 200 KB is a common way to meet that kind of rule: your résumé, transcript, certificates and ID each have to fit on their own.
Because ConvertirDocs accepts several PDFs in one go, you can prepare the whole set at once. Every file gets the same 200 KB target, and you see the before and after size of each, so you know right away which ones are ready and which need more work.
Make the file lighter before compressing
The easiest way to hit 200 KB is to send only what the form asks for. If a portal wants “the first page of your diploma” or “the signature page of the contract”, use “Extract pages” to keep just that page, then compress. Fewer pages means fewer images, and fewer images means a smaller file.
The opposite case happens too: a form wants everything in one upload, but your documents are separate. You can join them with “Merge PDF” and then compress the merged file. If that combined file can't get under 200 KB, it may be a sign that some pages are unnecessary; “Remove pages” lets you drop blank backs of scanned sheets or duplicate copies.
What the engine does to reach 200 KB
ConvertirDocs only recompresses the photos inside the PDF: scans, pictures and other 8-bit color or grayscale images. It lowers their resolution and JPEG quality in steps, and stops as soon as the file is under the target. It also removes embedded thumbnails and XMP metadata, which add weight without adding anything you see.
Text typed into the document and vector graphics are not changed, so a résumé exported from a word processor keeps crisp, selectable text. The flip side is that such a file may already be small, or may barely shrink, because there's little to recompress. If the result isn't smaller than the original, you get the original back with the message “Your PDF is already optimized”.
