Word counter shows live how many words, characters with and without spaces, sentences, paragraphs and lines a text has, how long it takes to read silently and aloud, and which words you repeat most. It also checks common limits, such as 160 characters for an SMS, 280 for a post on X, 155 for a Google description and 150 for an Instagram bio. If what matters is the character limit of a form, the Character counter page puts that number first.
Text compare places the original and the new version side by side and highlights what was added and what was removed, by words or by lines, with options to ignore capitals and spaces. It is the quick way to see what changed in a contract clause, a corrected essay or two versions of the same email. For two PDF files there is Compare PDF.
Case converter turns a whole text into UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, sentence case, alternating or inverted case, and cleans it up: it removes double spaces, empty lines, duplicate lines and line breaks, and sorts lines from A to Z. It fixes text typed with Caps Lock on and paragraphs copied from a PDF that come out broken at every line.
Number to words writes a figure up to 999,999,999,999 with two decimals in words, as a plain number, as an amount in dollars, euros or pounds, or in the check and invoice format with the cents as a fraction of 100. It also shows the number in Roman numerals from 1 to 3999. It is the tool for checks, receipts, invoices, promissory notes and contracts that ask for the amount in words.
These tools work together with the rest of the site. If the text is in a photo or a screenshot, Image to text extracts it with OCR; if it is in a PDF, PDF to TXT pulls it out. When the text is ready, TXT to PDF turns it into a document, and the online Word editor lets you format it and save it as .docx.
There is no “Process” button and no waiting: counts and conversions update as you type. You can open .txt files instead of pasting, and copy or download the result. Everything is free, with no sign-up and no usage limit, on phones and computers.
